These are the first words in the book of Joseph Pilates’ book ‘Return to Life Through Contrology’ and they couldn't ring truer for new moms like you.

The journey of bringing a new life into this world is nothing short of magical, yet it can also be incredibly exhausting and demanding. Your body has achieved something extraordinary, but it deserves the utmost care and attention as you transition into motherhood.

Our Postnatal Pilates 8-week Programme is designed exclusively for new moms. It offers a safe and effective way to restore strength, improve posture, and enhance overall well-being.

They will help you reconnect with your inner strength, regain confidence, and rejuvenate your body. It's not just about taking care of your baby; it's about taking care of yourself too.

Here are the transformations you will experience during the course:

  • Rediscover your Core: after giving birth, your core may feel like a distant memory, but gentle Pilates exercises will help you reconnect with those muscles. You will relearn how to engage the core muscles in a safe and supportive way.

  • Pelvic floor strength: The pelvic floor undergoes significant strain during pregnancy and delivery. Our course is designed to target and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

  • Posture and Alignment: Pregnancy and labor can lead to postural changes and imbalances. Pilates helps realign the spine, shoulders, and hips, promoting better posture.

  • Full-Body Strengthening: As you progress through our course, the workout will intensify but remain safe for your postpartum body. The focus will shift towards full-body strength. You will feel more capable, both in class and in my daily life.

  • Stress Reduction: Our Pilates program incorporates controlled breathing techniques providing a mental and emotional respite during the challenging postpartum period. Reduce stress, and anxiety, and promote a sense of calm and balance.

  • Community and Support: Joining our postnatal Pilates class means becoming part of a supportive community of other new mothers. Share experiences, challenges, and triumphs, knowing that you're not alone on this transformative journey.

We limit the number of participants to five individuals to ensure that each one receives the necessary attention and guidance from the instructor.

Our programme begins on Mats (with the use of various props if needed) and may progress to include the use of other studio equipment such as Reformers and Towers. The decision to incorporate additional equipment will be made by the instructor, taking into account the overall physical condition of the participants.

Please note that while you may bring your little ones with you, they will not actively participate in the class. Our primary focus in this program is on the mother. However, you are more than welcome to attend to your baby's needs during the class, including changing and feeding. We are also happy to help with cuddling the baby so that you can continue with your exercises.
